We Love Peas!!!!

I had forgotten how hard (and Messy) it is to feed little ones. Kodie is extremely difficult. First of all she always has to have her hands in her mouth 90% of the day. Second she doesn't really like any form of food. As you can see, she wears more than she eats. I guess we'll keep trying it right. Someday she'll like food. (I hope). Atleast she is Happy. Doesn't matter what she looks like. She's always got a huge grin on her face. I love how happy she always is.

While I was taking Kodie's cute pictures, Sophie (Our Cougar) decided to try what Kodie was eating. She loved it!!! I couldn't believe it. Atleast someone will eat the peas. Sophie is upset we took the peas away..... Don't worry Kodie didn't eat anymore after Sophie mow had her tongue in it. I ended up feeding Sophie the rest of the bottle with Kodie's spoon. It was so funny. I couldn't get a picture of that though. So funny!!!!

Vernon, UT

We had so much fun visiting Uncle Charlies this last weekend. It sure was cold though. I'm glad it warmed up a little bit on Sunday. We were suppose to brand all the new cows this last weekend, but the weather did not permit. The kids all had a blast though. They got to feed the baby cows and ride the horses. Kaden loves riding the horses. He can't wait to go back out again. Kodie had a good time as well. She had to stay inside though. So no cute pics of her. sorry Kodie. Next year she'll be able to run around with all the cousins. Little Hadlee can't wait for her best friend to be able to walk. The boys also went on a fun fourwheeler ride and shot their shotguns. Yeah! Don't you just love the country life. It makes me miss home a little bit. It's nice to have a place to go to get out of the busy city.

Kaden feeding a cute little baby. He thought it was so funny that the cow got milk on his nose. (Notice how Kade's shoes are on the wrong feet. Atleast he dresses himself, right)

What some good looking cowboys.

These pictures were taken of Kodie when she was 2 months old. I know I should have gotten them up sooner. our friend Erin took them. She did such a good job. You can check out more of her work at her website www.ekbphoto.com. Thanks Erin.

Going to School ???

So the other day I had just put Kodie down for her morning nap. I realized I hadn't heard Kaden for a while. I always start to worry when it's quiet. So I knocked on his door to see what he was up to. As I opened the door I found him putting on his last shoe. He already had dressed himself including his coat and back pack. I asked him where he was off to. "I'm late for school mom." It was so funny. I was so proud of him for getting himself ready and dressed. The funniest part is that he doesn't go to school yet. He can't wait to go to school. I guess I'm going to need to get him into preschool this fall. I can't believe he's growing up so fast. I wish we could freeze them and make them be little forever. I guess it's fun watching them grow and learn though.

Winter Fun!!!

Kaden loves playing out in the snow. He loves to help dad shovel the driveway as well. One day he had so much fun helping Jared he laid down on the sidewalk and fell asleep. I wish I had a picture of that cause I couldn't believe it. I think I am ready for spring though. I'm not much of a cold weather person. I do love the way everything looks right after a good snow storm though. If only the snow would be warm and stay off the roads. Wouldn't that be so much fun!
